Be your favorite version of yourself

Every year, you set out on January 1st to make a New Year Resolution… and by February, you’ve already fallen off the wagon.

You said you’ll work out more, but then you lost motivation to go to the gym.

You said you’ll save more money, but then the New Year sales at your favorite store pulled you in.

You said you’ll stop drinking, but then you finally got a night out with your friends and wanted to have fun.

You said you’ll eat healthier, but the first night you didn’t feel like cooking dinner you were back in the drive thru line.

But what if 2023 was different ?

I believe you deserve to live your life with purpose in 2023.

Between kids, running a business, and trying to keep up with the many demands of life, I found myself struggling to prioritize what was the *most* important.

The conversation in my head sounded something like this…

My kids are so important but so is work, after all, we have a mortgage to pay. I should probably spend more time with my husband….and what about time for me???

The truth is that there are a lot of competing forces in our lives that will steal our time and energy.

But crafting a personal mission statement offers you a guide on how and where to direct your energy.

Getting crystal clear on my mission statement helped me know when:

  • work needed to take a backseat
  • setting boundaries with my children was necessary
  • getting out of my comfy sweatpants and into an uncomfortable situation was my best and most memorable choice

Neither time or energy is infinite. Let me help you direct your attention to what matters most to you.

How is a personal mission statement different from a new year's resolution?

A new year’s resolution is trying to implement a new habit or behavior, where a personal mission statement is a brief sentence that guides your actions and moves you toward your goal.

When times get hard, it’s easy to fall back into old behaviors that don’t serve you anymore. But having a personal mission statement helps keep the focus on your life goals.

If you’re tired of new year’s resolutions that don’t work, join me in the free Create Your Personal Mission Statement Challenge, where you will get step-by-step guidance to craft a personal mission statement that motivates you and prioritizes your goals and values for 2023.

Testimonials

"I’ve written my personal mission statement several times; the first of which occurred while I went through wellcoaches training about 12 years ago. I recently worked on my mission statement again through a course offered by Jen. The way she organized her lessons, presented her content, and facilitated conversation beautifully and poignantly led me to one of the biggest aha moments I’ve experienced. I was struck by how I wasn’t living my mission statement and values with one person in particular - a source of notable discord at this time in my life. With that realization, I decided to work in alignment with my mission statement and to extend my father the unconditional support he deserves (while also maintaining my boundaries) to feel much more at peace. Thank you, Jen Arnold, for helping me find 'true north' again."

"Thank you for your session today regarding 'Your Compelling Why.' I received word from a recruiter today that I wasn’t selected for a job that I was passionate and excited about, one that I thought I would be perfect for. I allowed myself a moment (or two) of sadness, but then shifted my focus to trusting there was a better YES down the road, when I joined the webinar this afternoon. Your session could not have come at a better time, it was as if the universe was sending me a message in the form of you and your words. I have so many takeaways from your session (and some homework), but I wanted to share how much your talk meant to me and thank you for everything!"
